  • Dharmendra: A Biography: Not Just a He-Man

    February 26, 2019
    Honest rating: 2.75 stars

One of the biggest reasons why I wanted to read this book is because of the star it is about - obviously! Dharmendra is one of the only yesteryear leading men who I had and still have a crush on. And to read about his journey from beginning to end would have been an amazing thing to happen to me.

At one point, all I felt was that the author is flinging names and dates at me, as if he's doing it just because he has taken it upon himself to write the biography. There's no uniqueness to this narrative, with important facts being inserted into places that one would not think to look at. And there's also the fact that the writing is disjointed in many places, with unnecessary exclamations taking
